Athlete Recovery Depot was founded by Julie and Zach with a simple goal: make it easier for people to confidently invest in recovery and wellness equipment without wasting time, money, or energy on products that don’t live up to their promises.
Like many people focused on improving their health and performance, we spent countless hours researching products, comparing brands, reading reviews, and trying to determine what was genuinely worth the investment. The deeper we looked, the more confusing the industry seemed to become.
At the same time, Zach was seeing the same challenge through his work as a physiotherapist. Patients regularly asked which products were worth the investment, which technologies actually worked, and how to avoid spending money on equipment that wasn’t right for their goals.
Outside the clinic, we were asking many of the same questions ourselves. Through years of experience researching recovery, mobility, wellness, and rehabilitation products, we saw firsthand how difficult it could be to separate quality equipment from marketing hype.
